It supplies a large clientele distributed in Europe, Middle East, Asia, Australia, North and South America and has always been at the forefront in the search for alternative solutions to plastic: ecological and completely biodegradable. Ecopack is a family business, now in its third generation. In all the countries where it is present, it has always been committed to spreading its corporate values: sustainability and respect for the environment, transparency, honesty, innovation, protection of equality, human rights and safety in the workplace. The Company proudly identifies itself with these values, already inherent in the entrepreneurial style of its founders and of primary importance for them, making them one of its fundamental resources.In close parnership with the most important national and international food companies, Ecopack has gained thirty years of experience in the development, design and production of paper molds that best meet the needs of the sector, in the production of baking cups for highly automated lines and baking forms for the preparation of panettone, colomba and other confectionery products. The ability to manage the entire production process, from the conception of the prototype to the realization of the product up to its sale, constitutes one of the strengths of the company, which adds to this consolidated know-how the choice of technologically advanced machinery to guarantee items that meet the highest standards required by its customers (rotogravure printing up to eight colors, flexography, offset, duplex and triplex lamination, corrugation, lacquering, rewinding and cutting, die-cutting, fold-glue, automated forming).The care of the product down to every detail, certified to the source and subjected to a process of continuous improvement, the attention to adequate packaging together with punctuality and accuracy in deliveries have always been the strengths of the company that have allowed it to build over time strong and solid relationships with all customers.The challenge of finding increasingly sustainable solutions for food packaging led Ecopack to commit itself fully to the study and introduction of innovative techniques and materials (papers, inks, adhesives, etc.), and to collaborate in this sense with customers, partners and first level research institutes. The use of recyclable materials with a reduced environmental impact throughout the supply chain, combined with the attention to low energy consumption in the production process and care in minimizing waste, testifies to the commitment to this challenge.For this reason, the choice fell, for various lines, on biodegradable paper, derived from renewable sources, as well as on paper derived from bamboo fibers, or generated from cellulose fibers from cocoa beans, on RPET (recycled pet) and other materials, which allow appropriate and long-lasting food storage, faster cooking, with consequent energy savings, and are completely free from health hazards. The Company is in fact certified UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 for the management of the Quality System, and according to the BRC version 5 global standard for packaging and packaging materials, as well as adopting the Aticelca evaluation system for recyclability. Ecopack has also joined the GCNI, the United Nations program for companies in favor of the climate. Finally, by 2021, all production at the Italian plant will be made exclusively with FSC certified paper.
